I received the package early Friday afternoon and started unpacking it to put it in the freezer and was so amazed at all the packaging you did! Everything quadruple-packed, bubble-paper, insulation boards and freezer packs… then UPS’d all for $9.00. WOW!
My family had found another website selling kroketten, but the shipping for a dozen started at $36! I said it was why I haven’t ordered ever… too expensive! Then I get several dozen shipped to me from you for hardly more than their minimal shipping fees! So, that was a big win for me…
Then, I couldn’t wait until my work day was over so I could finally get a “fix” that was so long overdue! I kept 6 out in the fridge for the weekend. So, I figured 2 would make a nice meal or great snack, anyway… after the first one came out, I had a bite and said the heck with two… I could eat all 6!! And so I cooked them all, my eyes being bigger than my stomach!! After 3, I couldn’t eat 1 more bite… but later that night had one more! Saturday, I just put the 2 left over that were already fried into the toaster oven and they came out still crispy.
LONG story short, they arrived in WONDERFUL condition, were sooo delicious and I have the chicken ones thawing as we speak! I can’t wait for more!
Chef Alex, don’t take this the wrong way, but I would have been satisfied if they were like FEBO… but, they are at least as good as (I dare not say better!) like Oma and my Tante Liesbeth and mother made at home… sometimes just the ragout, but the beautiful, fresh taste is there! The meat was lean, NOT a spec of fat or grizzle… Lovely!! And I am traditional that way… always with a little dip into the mustard!
I can’t wait to order more!! This order was to try both flavors, since I never had kip kroketten… always vlees or kalvsflees. I appreciate your making it so affordable to get such a high quality product! Sometimes the shipping and handling just makes it too ridiculously expensive!
Do you make anything else?? I thought I saw a picture something that looked like a bahmi or nasiball?
